Hans Gebhardt is Professor of Human Geography at the University of Heidelberg. He studied Geography, Geology and German Language and Literature at the University of Tübingen. He worked as research and teaching Assistant and Professor at the University of Cologne and University of Tübingen.

Thilo Wiertz completed his degree in Geography, Physics, and Economics at the University of Heidelberg in 2009. His research interests are Political Geography and Nature-Society Relations. In his PhD project he looks at the spatial implications of climate politics and the political reasoning behind a global governance of geoengineering.
